REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Aug. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), the world's number one independent provider of data integration software, today announced that Fernando Lezama has joined Informatica as country manager for Mexico. Lezama brings 25 years of leadership experience driving growth for global IT companies in Latin America. As country manager, Lezama will manage all Informatica business operations in Mexico, reporting to Andre Petroucic, vice president, Latin America for Informatica.
Lezama was most recently country manager at Teradata for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, where he led the region in revenue and contribution growth, maintaining consistent growth. Previously, he held country manager positions for Mexico at Sybase and Compuware. Prior to that, he served as senior director, Latin America Region - Public Sector at Oracle Corporation where he oversaw channel efforts including supporting a large regional partner network. A respected industry figure, Lezama has served as president of the Association of IT in Mexico (AMITI), the Latin American IT Entities Chamber, and the Mexican Federation of Informatics.
