AnythingIT Makes Sizeable IT Loan to National Veterans Wheelchair Games

FAIR LAWN, N.J., Aug. 7, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AnythingIT, Inc. (OTCBB:ANYI), a leading information technology electronics recycler and e-waste handler serving both government and commercial markets, announced that it made a sizeable IT equipment loan to the 2013 National Veterans Wheelchair Games, that took place in Tampa, FL July, 2013. The equipment was used to facilitate their technology requirements.

AnythingIT loaned laptops, computers, plotters, a pallet of printers, a box of keyboards, mice, power cables and VGA cables, and monitors.  Paul Brundage, Senior VP at AnythingIT states, "I am honored to be able to provide some basic technology solutions for some men and women that have given so much for the freedoms that many take for granted.  Faced with adversity, these heroes are proving that you can win and thrive when you put your mind to it."

The National Veterans Wheelchair Games, co-presented annually by Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), allows veterans with disabilities to rediscover their strength and potential through athletic competition with peers. The Games are the largest annual wheelchair-sporting event in the world.

Mr. Brundage also stated, "Reuse is a form of recycling, and we were able to provide the Wheelchair Games with some much needed technology for this initiative.  Through one small contribution, in a way, we were able to give something of great need to those that have paid a heavy price for the freedoms we cherish.  It was certainly a privilege to coordinate and participate with this deserving initiative.  On behalf of our team, we're looking forward to continuing to support the Wheelchair Games in Aspen next winter and Philadelphia, next summer."
