Corrective Education Builds Retail Loss Prevention Innovation on AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management Platform

CEC Leverages AirWatch's Enterprise Mobility Management Solution to Change the Way Retailers Handle Petty Crime

OREM, UT and ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Aug 13, 2013) - Corrective Education Company (CEC) today announced a partnership with AirWatch®, the global leader and innovator in mobile security and largest Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) provider, to incorporate AirWatch EMM security and management capabilities into the CEC Connect™ retail loss prevention solution.

CEC Connect uses a tablet and fingerprint scanner for rapid in-store offender processing. CEC's cloud-based analytics and reporting tools allow retailers to better monitor in-store loss prevention activities and track offenders through CEC's educational intervention program. CEC developed its mobile application on the AirWatch EMM platform to save time creating enterprise-grade security capabilities and other application features.

"Retailers across the country turn to AirWatch to manage mobile devices and push out applications across their entire operation," said Jeff Mitchell, CEO of CEC. "Our partnership with AirWatch allows us to deploy our technology across a comprehensive EMM platform for flexibility, scalability and security. AirWatch's retail customers gain more value from current investments by quickly integrating CEC into their existing infrastructure."

"We continue to see more developers leverage AirWatch to build their content sharing applications such as board books, catalogs, electronic medical records and retail innovations faster and more secure," said Alan Dabbiere, chairman, AirWatch. "By using our platform, CEC was able to build a fully functional application with enhanced security at a lower cost than developing from scratch. Our partnership with CEC Connect delivers a comprehensive and disruptive mobile solution to retailers that will pay dividends by reducing time and costs associated with loss prevention."

"As we have gone out into the marketplace with our retail loss prevention program, the AirWatch name continues to come up from current and prospective AirWatch customers," said Darrell Huntsman, COO and founder of CEC. "The partnership provides our shared customers additional comfort and confidence in the technology they have deployed, or are considering, to improve their operations. We are excited about the potential of this partnership and look forward to working with the global leader in EMM to further the expansion and reach of our solutions."
