The five-year contract award allows government agencies to partner with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the agency in charge of protecting civilian networks, to implement CDM technology in order to better safeguard the agencies' networks, including the use of mobile devices, from day-to-day cyber threats.
The 17 selected federal systems integrators that received the award will offer government agencies sensors, risk-status displays and consulting services from contractors, the majority of which included ForeScout as a strategic component of their security solution. As part of a comprehensive CDM reference platform on 11 winning bids, CounterACT will help federal agencies improve their cybersecurity posture through its agentless, real-time asset discovery and policy-based remediation capabilities.
