Mexico's Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) requires businesses filing taxes in Mexico to utilize third-party organizations with an Authorized Provider Certification, like Mis e-Folios, to digitally certify records and send them to the SAT for validation. The customer's information is sent to Mis e-Folios where it is digitally signed and securely transmitted for validation. By using the Excrypt SSP9000 to digitally sign client records, Mis e-Folios ensures that their customers' records are verifiable and secure.
The Excrypt SSP9000 is a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 and PCI HSM-validated secure cryptographic device. All data encryption occurs inside the hardware-based cryptographic module with the ability to generate, verify, encrypt, and decrypt data in compliance with the SAT's requirements.
