NOS Clearing ASA is the leading clearing house for the freight market and a specialist clearing provider to the commodities markets. NOS members and products will technically be setup in the existing NASDAQ OMX Genium INET Commodities market and cleared by NASDAQ OMX Stockholm AB. NASDAQ OMX Commodities and financial will have access to the NOS products post migration. This Genium INET release has changes to the interfaces towards the exchange and clearinghouse that might have impact on your market interfaces. Please review the changes here below to identify technical impact, if any, on your side.
Summary of the planned changes for the Commodities:
There are adaptations planned to the existing implementation of the SPAN file for the Commodities in order to handle the special characteristics of the freight, iron ore and seafood contracts. Please refer to this document; Changes to the SPAN file Due to NOS migration. The document should be used together with the SPAN parameter File Changes document.

OMnet API Changes for Commodities market
There are changes to the current OMNet API protocol and introduction of new API messages due to the NOS migration that are mandatory if used. For detailed information please refer to the summary of the API changes in the complete OMnet Message Reference guide.
Existing Genium INET reports will be extended and new reports will be created to accommodate freight and seafood business. The impact, if any, is small. Please refer to the Changes to Genium INET Reports document.
External Test System
The Genium INET test environment EXT4 is available for test every workday from 08.00 to 15.00 CET until go live. Maintenance window is between 06.00-1200 CET each Wednesday. Currently OMNet API, FIX and SPAN interfaces integration can be tested. Clearing cycle runs every day. EXT4 will be upgraded on September 18 and will include full clearing functionality.
