The new season marks a move from ASICS to challenge runners to mix up their footwear and running routines to get the most out of daily workouts, as seen through a number of exciting new launches.

Highlights of the spring 2014 collection include:
Training
As one of ASICS' key areas of focus, spring training shoes are designed to withstand the strenuous and repetitive nature of training routines. Footwear in the collection include the GEL-Fortius™ TR for variable cross training and the GEL-Synthesis™ shoe with its innovative inner slipper that can be worn alone for a nearly barefoot training experience. The new GEL-Unifire™ TR offers great value in a running based cross-trainer, while the new colorful GEL-Muse™ Fit is perfect for studio workouts. On the apparel front, ASICS kept the "fash-lete" in mind when creating this colorful collection of comfortable tops, jackets and bottoms. The new women's ABBY® line features a dynamic black, white and purple color palette, and men's X-FLEXER™ Muscle and Tee with dash mesh piecing add fashionable elements to any training regime.
The Need for Speed
ASICS' spring 2014 collection for fast-paced running and racing provides dedicated runners and triathletes with key improvements to beloved shoe models. The GEL-Noosa Tri™ 9 functions as the ultimate triathlon shoe, while the GEL-NoosaFAST™ 2 offers superior breathability and a nearly seamless upper for shorter races. The updated GEL-Hyper Speed® 6, ASICS' athlete Ryan Hall's racing flat of choice, offers a sleek profile that molds to the foot like a glove. Rounding out the speed collection, the updated GEL-DS Trainer® 19 and GEL-DS Racer® 10 provide responsive and go-fast stable rides. Accompanying the shoes, new apparel with PR DRY technology, such as the women's Speed™ capri and singlet, feature breathability and moisture management properties.
Fujitrail™
Created for adventure seekers and trail runners, the ASICS Fujitrail™ products were introduced in 2013 with durability and sustainability top of mind. Updated for Spring 2014, the line will feature the new Cocona®1 EcoLine® based fabrics that use natural active particles derived from coconuts and minerals to enhance performance. This fabric, unique to ASICS and the Fujitrail™ line of apparel, will offer off-road athletes increased breathability, odor management and UV protection. Fujitrail™ footwear is also restructured for Spring 2014, featuring new colors and enhanced qualities in the popular GEL-FujiRacer™ and GEL-FujiTrainer™ shoes. The FujiTrail™ accessories focus for the season is around keeping your feet comfortable while you are attacking the trail with specific temperature regulation style and water repellent features.
Performance Running
The essential collection of run-ready footwear, apparel and accessories, the ASICS Performance collection includes must-have and cult-classic products alike. The new season heralds the highly anticipated launch of the GEL-Kayano® 20, a flagship shoe for the serious high-mileage runner, as well as celebratory Kayano® apparel. Complementing this release, ASICS continues its tradition of technological breakthroughs with the Natural33™ collection of four sneaker models (GEL-Excel33™ 3, GEL-Lyte33™3, GEL-Super J33™, and the new GEL-Electro33™). The Performance collection also includes tops and bottoms lightweight fabric in great new colors and prints, including a new capri pant with a new extra support that provides ultimate stretch and comfort. The Natural accessories sock collection is a lightweight performance sock that compliments the Natural 33™ collection shoes and is offered in great colors.
Tennis

New items of note include the Put Away™ men's jersey, a lightweight garment with moisture management properties, and the Alley™ tank for women featuring a racerback panel and built in shelf bra. The "supporting equipment" in every athlete's wardrobe - socks, underwear and bras - provides the necessary base layers to fuel athletic success. This season, ASICS provides a bevy of supporting garments, including four categories of socks: Elite Performance, Women's Performance, Sport Fashion, Performance Essentials, and Everyday Essentials. In this season's Elite Performance line, ASICS introduces PRO-fit Technology® where specific socks work in tandem with ASICS shoes and they are designed to allow natural movement in coordination with our shoes, providing support and cushioning where needed without interfering with the ride of the shoe.
