Lund, 2013-09-09 09:00 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Doro has entered a partnership with French company Withings in the area of mHealth. The agreement provides users of Doro’s newly launched smartphone – the Doro Liberto® 810 – privileged access to Withings’ two most popular medical devices. This allows users, or their designated family member, to monitor and measure changes to certain vital signs.
“We are pleased to work with Withings as a specialist connected health partner around the launch of our new smartphone. Doro Liberto® 810 is a product, which helps the non-smartphone users to try the smartphone experience. Being able to track their vital signs thanks to Withings devices and applications will be another reason to be tempted to use a smartphone. We see this as the start of a long relationship with further additions to our joint offer”, says Jérôme Arnaud, President and CEO at Doro, in a comment.
Doro’s overarching Care strategy is to continually enrich the lives of seniors around the world by introducing easy-to-use technology, in an accessible manner, that can answer their everyday health and wellbeing needs. The partnership Withings is a milestone in the realisation of that vision.
