Domo's Cathy Donahoe Receives Human Capital Leadership Award From Women Tech Council

SILICON SLOPES, UT--(Marketwired - September 18, 2013) - Cathy Donahoe, Domo vice president of human resources, was honored with the prestigious Human Capital Leadership Award from the Women Tech Council (WTC). The WTC Awards program recognizes technology-focused women who are driving innovation, leading technology companies and contributing to the tech economy. The event was held last week at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

Donahoe was called out for her unparalleled leadership in high-performing, fast-growth companies. In just over two years, she has recruited more than 250 employees to Domo and has put programs and teams in place to support Domo's aggressive growth plans. Under her HR leadership, Domo, not even three years old, was named as one of Utah's "Best Places to Work" by Utah Business.

While at Omniture, Donahoe led worldwide organizational growth from 100 employees to more than 1,100 in four years in 20 countries and 28 states. She successfully designed and managed Omniture's human capital strategies and infrastructure through five acquisitions, several years of record growth and an IPO.

Donahoe has served as president of the Society of Human Resources Management of Central Utah for a number of years, and she has served as a leadership mentor to BYU students.

This is the second consecutive year that WTC has recognized executives from Domo. Last year, WTC awarded James its first-ever Impact Award for his overall contributions to the technology community. It was the first time WTC recognized a man with an award at its annual program. WTC also honored Heather Zynczak, Domo CMO, with the 2012 Professional Leadership Award.
