Difference Capital Invests in the Mobile Payments Sector

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 30, 2013) - Difference Capital Financial Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DCF) ("DCF"), a leading specialty financial services company, is pleased to announce its investment in Carta Solutions Holding Corporation ("Carta"), which specializes in the mobile payments sector.

DCF has invested $2 million in Carta in the form of common shares and warrants, resulting in an approximate 5.0% diluted stake in the company. This investment provides DCF with exposure to the fast-growing mobile payments sector.
