RICHFIELD, Ohio, Oct. 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- National Interstate Insurance Company, a leading provider of transportation and specialty insurance since 1989, has announced a new college scholarship program in partnership with Kent State University. The company has pledged a three-year commitment to the program, which is available to Kent State students pursuing insurance or related college of business degrees.
The National Interstate Insurance Leadership Scholarship will be awarded to students who have demonstrated leadership skills in either community or university activities. A full list of eligibility requirements can be obtained from the Office of Student Financial Aid at Kent State University.
