OREM, Utah, Oct. 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- For customers using Silhouette CAMEO® and Silhouette Portrait ® please be advised that we have found a subset of the AC adapters included with Silhouette CAMEO and Silhouette Portrait have a counterfeit UL Mark.
Although we have tested and confirmed that the AC adapter concerned has no obvious safety hazard, we will replace the AC adapter with a UL certified one that has the correct UL Mark, free of charge. Please note that only AC adapters manufactured until March 2013 are affected. The month of manufacture may be found on the label on the bottom of the AC adapter. A sample of the label may be viewed at the Silhouette America web site www.silhouetteamerica.com.
