LLC, Wilmington/Delaware, USA and Morgan Stanley, Wilmington/Delaware, USA
notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

1) On 30 September 2013, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC exceeded the threshold of
3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC held
3.11% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 4,301,768
voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion of 0.04% (equals 52,700
voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

2) On 30 September 2013, Morgan Stanley Domestic Holdings Inc. exceeded the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley
Domestic Holdings Inc. held 3.11% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
arising from 4,301,768 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion
of 3.11% (equals 4,301,768 voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley
Domestic Holdings Inc. pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG
(name of controlled undertaking: Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC).

3) On 30 September 2013, Morgan Stanley Capital Management LLC exceeded the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley
Capital Management LLC held 3.11% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
arising from 4,301,768 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion
of 3.11% (equals 4,301,768 voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley
Capital Management LLC pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG
(names of controlled undertakings: Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC; Morgan Stanley
Domestic Holdings Inc.).

4) On 30 September 2013, Morgan Stanley exceeded the threshold of 3% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt
a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley held 3.11% of the voting
rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 4,301,768 voting rights. Of these
voting rights, a proportion of 3.11% (equals 4,301,768 voting rights) is
attributed to Morgan Stanley pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1
WpHG (names of controlled undertakings: Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC; Morgan
