In order to support the 2015 strategy, TDC has completed organisational changes in certain parts of the Danish operations, as announced on May 16. All consumer brands including YouSee are now joined in Consumer to strengthen the multi-brand strategy of TDC and ensure an optimal marketing effect across brands. A new business unit named Channels has been formed comprising all call centres as well as online departments across the Danish part of the Group. A number of business areas from YouSee A/S are now organised together with their functional equivalents in TDC A/S especially in Consumer, Operations and Channels.
As a consequence of the changes, the financial results will be reported for the business units Consumer, Business, Wholesale, Nordic and Cost centre, with the latter covering the three units Operations, Channels and Headquarters, where the majority of the Danish cost base is placed.
Moreover, to simplify and increase the level of transparency in Group reporting going forward, TDC eliminates a large share of the internal cost allocations including costs related to infrastructure use, inventory services and logistics. The figures for the Group are unchanged.
The Fact sheet has been prepared for new operational KPIs supporting the 2015 strategy. Data will be included in connection with the release of the Q3 2013 results on 1 November 2013. In addition, certain operational data in the Fact sheet have been adjusted, which is elaborated in the attached presentation.
A restated Fact sheet with comparative figures for Q1 2011 to Q2 2013 and a presentation of the changes is therefore now available on TDC's website and attached this release.
The restatement does not give rise to any changes to the Guidance 2013, which was announced on 5 February 2013 in connection with the publication of the TDC Financial Statements 2012 and reaffirmed in connection with the release of the Q1 2013 results on 3 May 2013 and the Q2 results on 7 August 2013.
