Karyopharm Therapeutics Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering


NATICK, Mass., Oct. 7, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel first-in-class drugs directed against nuclear transport targets for the treatment of cancer and other major diseases, announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. All shares of the common stock to be sold in the offering will be offered by Karyopharm. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Leerink Swann LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. JMP Securities LLC and Oppenheimer & Co. are acting as co-managers.
