Tele2 changes credit facility agreement

Stockholm - Tele2 AB (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B)
today announced that the company has made changes to its revolving credit
facility agreement of EUR 1,200 million with a syndicate of 12 banks.
Tele2 has together with its 12 core banks reduced the syndicated revolving
credit facility from EUR 1,200 million to EUR 800 million. Further, the final
maturity of the facility has been extended one year, to May 2018. One of the 12
banks in the syndicate has chosen to not participate in the new facility, making
the number of banks 11.

The new facility has a more suitable size for Tele2, following the sale of Tele2
Russia.

The new facility is currently unutilized.
