Ravica and Plixer Integrate Solutions for Data Center Security

Ravica secures server rooms for medium to large enterprises by providing access hardware with options for finger print readers, proximity access key tags and card readers. In addition, the company also provides fail safe physical door controls such as heavy duty door locks and electronic strike plates.

The fully integrated solution will enable the Ravica security system to access logs entered into Plixer's Scrutinizer architecture as flows, where they can be correlated with messages collected from hundreds of electronic and physical access points deployed throughout a data center. By maintaining a single secure data store of all physical access and system messages, security teams may now correlate data center entry logs with configuration change logs and even authentication messages to enhance security procedures.
