Syntel Chairman Bharat Desai to Speak at India--U.S. Corporate Conclave on October 19, 2013

(Nasdaq:SYNT), a global information technology services and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm, today announced that the Company's Chairman and Co-Founder, Bharat Desai, will speak at the IIT Bombay – Washington University Corporate Leaders Conclave taking place October 19–20, 2013 in St. Louis.

This two-day event is a follow up to a parallel event held in Mumbai, India in March. The IIT Bombay – Washington University Corporate Leaders Conclave brings together representatives from industry and academia to focus on strengthening the U.S.–India connection, creating innovation and educational opportunities, and developing solutions to global economic and humanitarian issues.

On October 19, Mr. Desai will participate with other business leaders in a panel discussion focused on entrepreneurship and innovation, which will be moderated by Washington University Executive Vice Chancellor Hank Webber.
