Energy Telecom Selects Ten Countries to Include in Foreign Patent Protection for Its Pending U.S. 'Zone of Safety' Utility Patent Application


ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., Oct. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Energy Telecom (OTCBB:ENRG) ("Energy Telecom" or the "Company") announced that on October 17, 2013, it selected ten countries in which the claims in its pending 'Zone of Safety' U.S. Utility Patent application will be filed as part of the Patent Cooperation Treaty filing process to occur immediately after and if the U.S. application is allowed. The countries include Great Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Canada, Australia, the Republic of China, Japan, and South Korea.

The Patent and Trademark Office filing will include the benefits described in the Company's pending Patent Application #13/713,789, relating to its innovative 'Zone of Safety' technology for the benefit of workers in hazardous locations, those enjoying sports outdoors, as well as a variety of other applications.
