MONROE, La., Oct. 21, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Community Trust Bank at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, as they present the HOME Coalition of Northeast Louisiana with a $14,000 Partnership Grant Program (PGP) award.
The HOME Coalition is a Monroe, Louisiana-based coalition of nonprofits, government agencies, faith-based groups, businesses, and individuals concerned with homelessness in Northeast Louisiana.
The nonprofit organization will use the grant to help fund a planning coordinator position.
FHLB Dallas awarded $225,000 in grants through its PGP this year. The funds provide funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and community development.
