"We are delighted to have Chris as our new Government Affairs Director. He comes to us from the Vermont Association of REALTORS® and brings an impressive and diverse political background. He led successful efforts to protect property rights, monitor regulatory oversight, promote downtown development, and bolster avenues for owner financing. After Hurricane Irene hit Vermont, Chris was instrumental in helping homeowners get back on their feet. In addition to creating a Vermont Realtors® Victim Grant Program, MacDonald rolled up his sleeves and helped homeowners muck out basements to reconstruct their lives. In his free time, Chris enjoys being outside and will jump at any chance to use his pilot's license to explore the landscape.
