Classic Rock 101 Announces the Return of Willy Percy to Host New Show 'Willy in the Morning'

Corus Entertainment's Vancouver-based station, Classic Rock 101, announces today that renowned radio personality, Willy Percy, will be joining the station as morning host of a new show on November 12, 2013. The brand new morning show, 'Willy in the Morning,' will serve as an engaging and entertaining Vancouver morning radio show for grown ups, paired with the Best of the '60s, '70s, and '80s Classic Rock that the station is famous for. Following a break from the airwaves for over a year, amid much fan anticipation and speculation, Willy is returning to radio as one of Vancouver's most iconic and longest-running radio personalities, having entertained morning commuters for over 20 years as part of the well-known 'Larry and Willy' on-air duo.

"While the past year presented many opportunities for me, I knew there would come a day when I could no longer tolerate the constant racket that came with coaching my 10 year old son's hockey team. 'Willy in the Morning' will air from 6:00am - 10:00am PST, Monday through Friday each week on Classic Rock 101. 'Willy in the Morning' is the only morning show in the city that blends talk on current events and hot-topics injected with Willy's renowned humour and energy, with the Best Classic Rock songs of the '60s, '70s and '80s.
