Deutsche Börse AG: Settlement with U.S. plaintiffs effective

As Deutsche Börse AG had already published in its ad hoc disclosures dated
9 September 2013 and 24 October 2013, Clearstream Banking S.A.
('Clearstream'), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Deutsche Börse AG, entered
into a settlement agreement with U.S. plaintiffs. In order for the
settlement agreement to become effective, the U.S. Court was still to
formally dismiss all direct claims against Clearstream.

The U.S. Court has now entered the respective order and dismissed all
direct claims. Hence, the settlement has become effective.
