General Payment Systems Signs Largest Alternative Payment Account in Company History With Riverside County, CA Agreement


IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- General Payment Systems, Inc. (OTC:GPSI) (the "Company") - a payment processing technology company that specializes in the $500 billion government payment space, is pleased to announce that the Company has signed its largest alternative payment account through an expanded agreement with Riverside Superior Court, CA.

After winning the RFP (Request for Proposal) to provide kiosk payment services in Riverside, General Payment Systems was asked to demonstrate its capabilities through a beta test in Riverside's Moreno Valley location. Following the completion of the successful beta, General Payment Systems has now expanded to three additional installations, with kiosks deployed at Larsen, Hemet and Southwest Superior Court locations.

The agreement also calls for the installation of kiosks at three more court locations in Riverside.

General Payment Systems' kiosks in Riverside have been customized to accept cash and checks as payment for traffic tickets. The newly developed software/kiosk can also dispense cash to the customer for change providing yet another way the Company's leading edge technology can help alleviate frustrating lines at the windows and reduce labor costs.
