(Nasdaq:CAR) have teamed up to provide Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental customers the option to rent ancillary products through Sabre-connected travel agents worldwide.
The "car extras" merchandising capability can be shopped, booked and confirmed in the Sabre Red Workspace. Travel agents can now clearly identify the products offered — Global Positioning System (GPS) devices, ski racks and child safety seats — along with the pricing for each, and receive booking confirmation.
