Join Wicked Good Cupcakes and Send US Troops a Taste of Home

Cohasset, MA, Nov. 21, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In a national effort, Wicked Good Cupcakes is helping to bring a Taste of Home to our men and women serving in the military this holiday season.  With your help Wicked Good Cupcakes will be sending their famous home made cupcakes in a jar to our troops at Camp Brown in Kandahar Afghanistan and Firebase Shank in the Logar Province of Afghanistan.

Shark Tank entrepreneurs Tracey Noonan and Danielle Desroches, founders of Wicked Good Cupcakes have always believed in dong whatever they can to help the community.  Now this national sensation is making more waves by asking the entire nation to pledge a jar before Monday December 10, 2013 to send our troops a Taste of Home.

By going to their website http://wickedgoodcupcakes.com, customers can pledge to send as many jars as they wish and include a personal message to send to the troops.  Wicked Good Cupcakes will organize and cover all shipping expenses and the remaining proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.  On December 14th they will invite the local community to come to the Cohasset shop to help pack the jars and hand write cards to show their support.

"Wicked Good Cupcakes has always been about putting the best of America in a jar.  We are proud to help families connect during the holidays, many thanks to everyone that is helping to make this program happen" says Kevin O'Leary of ABC's Shark Tank.
