Starting from the 1st of January 2014, Ramūnas Bagdonas will take the position of Director of Human Resources Unit of TEO, the largest provider of integrated telecommunication, IT and TV services in Lithuania. R. Bagdonas, who is 39 years old, until now has been working at Philip Morris International, where he recently held the position of Director HR Strategy and Planning at the company's headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.
R. Bagdonas has been working for 13 years in total for Philip Morris. He will return to Lithuania after more than six years of his career abroad. While working in Lithuania from 2002 to 2008, R. Bagdonas held the position of Manager Human Resources Operations of the company in the country, later he was responsible for the development of the HR policy for the three Baltic States. In 2008 R. Bagdonas continued his career in Poland, where he worked as Director Lead HR Business Partner Poland and Baltic States. Over the past two years of working in Switzerland, he was responsible for HR strategy and planning for the whole corporation with 88 thousand employees in total.
R. Bagdonas is a graduate of the International Executive MBA program at the Baltic Management Institute, as well as holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Vytautas Magnus University. Later, he continued his professional development by studying at several universities and academies in the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and currently studies under the Human Resources Management Study Programme of the Cornell University (USA). R. Bagdonas is one of the founders of the Lithuanian Association of Human Resources Professionals.

Bertil Abrahamsson, the current acting Director of Human Resources Unit of TEO, in January 2014 will return to work as Vice-President of Human Resources at TeliaSonera Headquarters in Stockholm.
