Mr. Nelson was honored for his leadership role in the Company's March acquisition of Zipcar, the world's leading car sharing network, and for Avis Budget Group's effort to improve the Company's realized commercial pricing over the past year. The annual ranking marks the third time that Mr. Nelson has been recognized. Mr. Nelson was named one of the "25 Most Influential Executives" of 2011 for Avis Budget Group's 2011 acquisition of Avis Europe plc; and in 2010, he was recognized for the Company's public and private negotiations regarding the acquisition of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.
