Dissemination of a Voting Rights Announcement, transmitted by

1. Cevian Capital II GP Limited, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands, 
informed us in accordance with § 21 (1) WpHG that its share of the voting
rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, ISIN DE0007500001,
exceeded 10% thresholds on December 6, 2013. At this date the share of the
voting rights amounts to 10.96% (which equates to 62,042,466 voting
rights). All of the voting rights are attributable to Cevian Capital II GP
Limited in accordance with § 22 (1) sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.

Voting rights of the following controlled companies are attributed to
Cevian Capital II GP Limited:

 - Cevian Capital II Master Fund LP 8.66% (which equates to 49,023,897
voting rights)
- Cevian Capital II Co-Investment Fund LP 2.30% (which equates to
13,018,569 voting rights)


2. In this connection Cevian Capital II GP Limited notified us in
accordance with § 27a (1) WpHG of the following:

-  The purpose of the investment is not to implement strategic objectives
but to achieve trading gains.

- The notifier intends where appropriate to acquire further voting rights
within the next twelve months by purchase or other means.

- The notifier aims to achieve representation on the Supervisory Board of
the Company commensurate with the size of its shareholding. A change in the
composition of the Executive Board is not planned.

- The notifier does not aim to achieve a material change in ThyssenKrupp
AG's capital structure, in particular as regards the ratio between its own
funds and external funds and the dividend policy.

- The funds used to purchase the voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG are the
notifier's own funds.
