Syntel Opens New Development Center in Maryland

TROY, Mich., Dec. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syntel, Inc. (Nasdaq:SYNT), a global information technology services and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm, today announced it has inaugurated a new development center in suburban Baltimore, Maryland to expand the Company's capacity to deliver solutions for its clients.

Syntel's new Maryland center is Syntel's fourth delivery center in the USA and complements its facilities in Phoenix, Nashville and Memphis.

With seating for more than 300 people, this innovative facility was designed specifically to enable Agile software development. "Our ability to provide flexible sourcing options for our clients, tap into the best talent and provide world-class facilities is essential to our goal of providing the highest levels of customer service."

"The global outsourcing market is expanding rapidly, and this new development center will enable Syntel to stay ahead of client demands and offer higher levels of security and client comfort," said Ranade.

Syntel, a U.S.-owned and operated company, has made significant investments in its infrastructure within the past year, breaking ground on a new 100-acre development in Tirunelveli, India, expanding its existing campuses in Pune and Chennai, India, and opening a new facility in Manila, Philippines.
