Helsinki, 2013-12-12 16:15 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
A major financial institution has placed a significant order for additional Universal SSH Key Manager™ cybersecurity services. The order expands a successful project implemented during 2013. Contract value for this new order for services is approximately EUR 0.8 million (USD 1.1M). The revenue will be recognized during first quarter 2014.
A typical SSH key remediation project includes securing IT systems from advanced malware attacks, insider threats, and APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) attacks arising from unmanaged cryptographic keys, including e.g.:
- moving user authentication keys to protected locations, to prevent insider attacks;
- removing keys that are no longer needed, to effect proper termination of access;
- changing all keys so that copied keys cease to work, to eliminate existing backdoors; and
- continuous monitoring and enforcement of proper approvals.
Additionally, setting up new SSH keys or other trust relationships is typically automated to save costs and improve security.
Universal SSH Key Manager™ software helps organizations of all sizes to manage their cryptographic keys and access to large IT environments. The product is unique in being able to simultaneously manage, deploy, audit and rotate user authentication keys for large scale SSH environments.
