Wildfox CEO, Jimmy Sommers, Hosts Three-Day Public Art Exhibition Alongside Flaunt Magazine at Art Basel


LOS ANGELES, Dec. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wildfox CEO, Jimmy Sommers (www.wildfoxjimmysommers.com), hosted a three-day public art exhibition at Art Basel Miami alongside Flaunt Magazine and Balthazar Getty.

Wildfox CEO, Jimmy Sommers and Flaunt Magazine presented a three-day public art exhibition at Mana Wynwood in Miami's Art District. "Affordable Care", a group show taking place during Miami Art Week.

The indoor/outdoor exhibit was open to the public during the day and featured two private evening events. Throughout the nights of the exhibition, guests such as Rose McGowan, David Arquette, and photographer Melanie Pullen enjoyed musical performances by Kendrick Lamar and Jesse Jo Stark. 

The event kicked off Wednesday with a private party featuring a collaboration between Vanessa Beecroft and Kanye West, that included a performance piece of Beecroft's choreography of models in interplay with clay, amidst Beecroft sculptures. Thursday evening included a Fire Poem Performance by Robert Montgomery in which the artist lit fire to an oak carved sculpture version of his famed 'Hollywood Lawn' poem.
