UNIVERSITY PARK, ILL., Dec. 17, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied Systems today announced that Caroline Schweppe has joined its Canadian leadership team as vice president of Insurer Solutions. Schweppe brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology and insurance in management roles with companies in Canada and the United States.
As Applied Systems continues to expand its business and product offerings in Canada, Schweppe will enable the company to broaden its insurer relationships, providing additional support to existing customers and guidance on the direction of Applied Systems' insurer products and services for the Canadian marketplace.
Prior to joining Applied Systems, Schweppe served as vice president of business development at ClearRisk, Inc., an online provider of risk management solutions to carriers, insurance brokers and professional risk managers. Prior to ClearRisk, she held a number of business development and advisory roles at CGI, Insurers Advisory Organization (IAO) and one of Canada's major banking institutions.
