EMRISE Receives $1 Million Network Access Products Order

DURHAM, N.C., Dec. 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EMRISE CORPORATION (OTCQB:EMRI), a multi-national manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic devices and communications equipment, today announced that it has received an order for approximately $1 million in network access products for use in a high profile network application to be installed by a European government.

The order was received from a major European systems integrator by the Company's CXR-Anderson Jacobson subsidiary based in France, and is expected to be shipped during the first and second quarters of 2014.

EMRISE Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Carmine T. Oliva said that as the Company enters 2014, order activity for its communications products in Europe and certain countries in North Africa is enabling its French subsidiary to maintain its communications equipment backlog at the higher levels achieved throughout 2013.

"We have longstanding relationships with resellers, system integrators and end user customers in those regions of the world, and we have considerable experience in the application of our network access products in a number of key commercial, industrial and government market segments," Oliva said. "Because of these competitive strengths, we believe we are well positioned to capture our share of the demand for communications products in Europe and the French-speaking countries of North Africa."
