PARIS, Jan. 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ingenico (Euronext: FR0000125346 - ING), a global leader in payment solutions, announces the deployment of a pilot payment solution with Carrefour Banque and the Auchan Group in France, Spain and Portugal, to support them in their move towards standardising the acceptance of bank card payments in Europe.
This solution is a new step in the standardization of transaction processing at a European level. The aim is to optimise the card payments acceptance of all European stores based on SEPA standards, and to increase security management.
The deployment process of these pilots draws on the recognised expertise of Ingenico and on its leading position in Europe SEPA in implementing standalone and centralised card payment solutions across the region.
