CARY, N.C., Jan. 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Autonomic Resources announces a new FedRAMP Re-Platforming service offering to assist software vendors in re-platforming their application stacks upon the FedRAMP and DoD accredited Autonomic Resources Cloud Platform (ARC-P). Vendors can inherit numerous security controls from the ARC-P IaaS infrastructure saving them time, money, and headaches in complying with their agencies' requirements.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has already begun monitoring federal agencies for their use of non-compliant vendors offering software applications from non-compliant cloud/co-location facilities through a process called PortfolioStat. After the June 5, 2014 deadline, agencies that are still working with non-compliant software application providers will be subject to a complete IT investment portfolio review by the OMB. Agency leaders are realizing the time to get their off premise software application they use FedRAMP-compliant systems is now.

Autonomic is able to provide the accredited FedRAMP and accredited DoD IaaS platforms to which customers can move software solutions. Doing this meets the federal agency requirements for running those from an accredited cloud. Autonomic can not only provide the underlying accredited IaaS platforms, but also guide and assist customers through the process of obtaining their own FedRAMP and DoD accreditation for the entire software stack being delivered to federal agencies and departments.

With cloud ARC-P IaaS costs beneath even the largest of public cloud service providers, coupled with un-paralleled customer service and a complete understanding of the FedRAMP accreditation process, it is no surprise Autonomic is helping re-platform a large number of vendor solutions that need to meet these new mandate requirements.
