Community leaders, educators, and credit union professionals will be doing just that with Jean Chatzky, acclaimed author and financial editor for NBC's "Today" show. Chatzky is headlining the Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation's FOCUS Summit Feb. 6-7 in Dallas.
This two-day summit addresses the financial literacy problem in our country, and is an opportunity for financial education advocates to network, share best practices, learn about available resources, as well as explore proven techniques and strategies for deploying financial education into their local schools and communities.
Author of eight books, Chatzky is well known for helping millions of people battle increasingly problematic debt. Leading up to the Feb. 6 summit, Chatzky will also make a special appearance on the Cornerstone Credit Union League's Blog Talk Radio Show, "Your Money, Your Matters." Jan. 28. Broadcasting every Tuesday, the show addresses financial issues important to consumers. Chatzky will share her five money rules with "Your Money, Your Matters" listeners at 11 a.m. CST.
