Caverion to deliver all technical elements to Expro’s new building in Norway

Caverion will deliver cooling and ventilation, lighting, sprinklers and an exhaust system to a new building for oil service company Expro in Norway. The value of the agreement is EUR 4.6 million. The project will commence in March 2014, and it is estimated to be ready in July 2015.

The new building is a combination of offices covering 3,200 m2 and workshops covering 6,400 m2.

“In the office part of the building, we will deliver Caverion’s own patented ClimaCeil, a unique cooling and ventilation system with a hidden pathway for all technical installations. In the workshop building, we will deliver ventilation, lighting, sprinklers and an exhaust system for welding,” says Erling Mellemstrand, Sales Manager.

ClimaCeil airflow can be adjusted as needed in different locations in the building, such as different cooling on the north and south sides of the building.

ClimaCeil is adapted to modern energy-saving automation systems. It’s draft-free and provides almost noiseless ventilation and cooling, without the use of ice water in the ceiling. In addition, it has easy adjustment of airflow and temperature.

The contract has been signed with Block Berge Bygg, which is responsible for all building elements under a turnkey contract.
