Women's Foodservice Forum Names Deborah Schwartz Griffin Director, Business Development


DALLAS, Jan. 21, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Women's Foodservice Forum (WFF), the premier leadership development organization in the foodservice sector, has named Deborah Schwartz Griffin as Director, Business Development. In this role, Schwartz Griffin will be responsible for business development and sales to generate new strategic relationships and revenue. She recently joined WFF and will be based in Atlanta, GA.

An industry expert with more than 25 years of experience, Schwartz Griffin has worked for a variety of companies in foodservice, accounting, and meetings and events, as well as for trade associations, television and radio, and news and production organizations.

Most recently, Schwartz Griffin was Director of Sales & Marketing for Trusted CFO Solutions, an accounting and solutions advisory firm for the professional services industry. At Trusted CFO Solutions, she partnered with seven new restaurant clients in the company's first six months, and created their sales plan.

Schwartz Griffin has also served as Director of National Accounts for Atlanta Fixture & Sales Company, where her efforts led to a 20 percent increase in revenues. Prior to this role, she worked for more than six years as VP of Membership & Sponsorship Sales with the Georgia Restaurant Association. Earlier in her career, she helped generate more than $4 million in new business and nontraditional media revenue at WSB-TV as a Business Development/Co-op/Vendor Specialist.

In addition to her professional background, she has given back to her community as President of the Atlanta Women's Network, and by serving on the boards of the Northside Hospital Foundation, the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, and the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association's Sales & Marketing Council.
