STADA Arzneimittel AG: STADA exceeds two-billion-euro mark in sales

Bad Vilbel, January 22, 2014 - According to the preliminary figures
available today, on January 22, 2014, STADA Arzneimittel AG will have
exceeded the two-billion-euro mark for Group sales in financial year 2013.
STADA thereby passes another important benchmark after the Group had
already exceeded the one-billion-euro sales mark in financial year 2005.
'In reaching over two billion euros in Group sales, we were not only able
to exceed an important mark, we could also show that we continue to be on
the growth path with our sustainable business model. Our activities in the
two market regions of CIS/Eastern Europe as well as Asia & Pacific, and our
Branded Products segment, contributed to the sales growth in particular.
This confirms our strategic orientation by which we concentrate on
furthering our business in emerging markets and focus on the expansion of
our strong brands', said Hartmut Retzlaff, Chairman of the Executive Board.
STADA will publish its final figures for financial year 2013 on March 27,
2014.
