Helsinki, Finland January 23, 2014 - QPR Software, a provider of software and services for operational development, today announces new release of its Automated Business Process Discovery (ABPD) and Process Mining software product QPR ProcessAnalyzer. Release 2014.1 includes enhanced core data import capabilities, notifications and process visualization. The product allows for automated data integration directly from different business IT-systems as well as databases.
QPR ProcessAnalyzer 2014.1 makes it easier for process owners and data practitioners to import relevant data from source systems for process discovery and analysis. The inclusive ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) functionalities remove the need to use a separate tool for working with data and enable users to automate the normally laborious data transfers. This opens new possibilities for business benefits and operative management support, as analysis and improvement of business critical processes can be done continuously, as opposed to one-off projects.

Integrated data extraction
Release 2014.1 includes dedicated interface to SAP and support for access middleware ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity). Now QPR ProcessAnalyzer enables integrated and continuous data extraction directly from SAP and provides a universal data access interface, allowing maximum interoperability with databases. The latter significantly eases and quickens data extraction as it can be done directly from the databases, not needing to spend time making custom modifications to the interfaces of source systems.
Communication & visualization
QPR ProcessAnalyzer can now be set to send automated email notifications to the organization e.g. when a process performance level does not comply with agreed threshold. This gives operative management full control over processes and enables proactive reacting to changes. Notifications can be extended even for end customers to keep them up-to-date on e.g. their order progress. In addition, communication to relevant stakeholders can be further enhanced with animation feature for clearly visualizing the process flow and bottlenecks.
