San Diego County Regional Airport Authority Selects AssetWorks Enterprise Asset Management Software Solution

WAYNE, Pa., Jan. 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AssetWorks, a leading provider of enterprise asset management software, fleet management software and automated fuel management systems, announced today that San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (SDCRAA) has contracted to purchase AssetWorks EAM software as its Computerized Maintenance Management Solution (CMMS).

San Diego International Airport is the busiest single-runway commercial airport in the United States. SDCRAA manages the day-to-day operations of San Diego International Airport and addresses the region's long-term air transportation needs.

SDCRAA has selected AssetWorks EAM, a comprehensive asset management system, as its enterprise-wide management information system. AssetWorks EAM functionality includes work order management, materials management, real-time labor tracking, and inspection recording along with detailed reporting and analytics tools. SDCRAA can take advantage of EAM's out of the box capabilities to manage the maintenance of all airport assets, including the terminals, jetways, baggage carousels, equipment, and fleet vehicles. Tenants of SDCRAA's real estate operations will have access into the system to make and track work order requests and maintenance issues.

Data in the EAM system can be displayed in both traditional and visual representations to help management truly understand the status and needs of the assets at each moment. Coupled with AssetWorks powerful reporting capabilities, EAM offers robust functionality that can help SDCRAA address their pressing issues and answer to the needs of the tenants and public they serve.

"We are pleased to be partnering with the SDCRAA as a provider for technology that can help them with their daily operations and long term planning," states Carl Bruce, VP of AssetWorks. "In particular, our highly configurable functionality which will be used to integrate directly with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, can help streamline many of the SDCRAA maintenance and operations processes. Our modular portals and flexible configurations based on user role, can help make AssetWorks EAM user friendly for both frequent users, such as SDCRAA employees and the more casual users, such as tenants who will use the system to make work requests."
