AS Tallinna Vesi’s General Counsel and member of the Management Board, Ilona Nurmela, has tendered her resignation to the Company and the Board accepted it on January 23^rd. Ms Nurmela’s last date in the company will be January 31^st, 2014.

AS Tallinna Vesi's Chairman of the Management Board Ian Plenderleith said “The Company receiving the nomination for the EMAS 2012 award for water management by European Commission, as a recognition for its CSR efforts is a clear evidence of Ilona’s and her team’s efforts and the entire company’s dedication towards doing business in a responsible way. Also, her team has contributed to the company successfully retaining its ISO and EMAS certificates. On behalf of the Company and the Supervisory Council of the Company I would like to thank Ilona for her services and especially dispute resolution matters over the past 5 years. I wish her every success as she continues her career in mediation and ethical business through the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance“.

With the resignation of the General Counsel of the Company, AS Tallinna Vesi will continue with a three-member Management Board as of 1^st of February 2014: Chairman of the Management Board Ian Plenderleith, Chief Financial Officer Riina Käi and Chief Operating Officer Aleksandr Timofejev.
