SKW Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG appoints Kay Michel as new Chairperson of
the Executive Board (CEO)
 
Unterneukirchen (Germany), January 28, 2014: In its meeting of today, the
Supervisory Board of SKW Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG appointed Mr. Kay
Michel (57) as Chairperson of the Executive Board (CEO). Kay Michel will
take over the chairperson function effective April 1, 2014 from Ines
Kolmsee, who will leave the company at the end of March 2014 with the
expiration of her contract and after transferring the business affairs.

Kay Michel commands comprehensive experience in leadership positions of
national and international companies. As CEO of various companies, he has
lastly been responsible for the strategic development as well as concept
and implementation of programs to enhance efficiency and to restructure.
Moreover, Kay Michel served as Managing Director at the international
consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal from 2003 to 2007. Until the turn of the
millennium, he held leading positions at the ABB Group and as member of the
Executive Board of a globally positioned telecom company.
