SAN DIEGO, Jan. 28, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Co-Founder of iTAN Sun Spray Spa® and San Diego County resident, Irina Kharsa, helped select Miss California USA 2014 on Saturday, January 4, as one of the pageant's eight judges.
iTAN is one of Southern California's fastest growing, franchised tanning and spa salons with 29 locations throughout San Diego and Riverside Counties.

San Diego State University student and Miss Beverly Hills USA, Cassandra Kunze, was crowned Miss California USA 2014 after competing against more than 100 contestants. The pageant featured three categories: private interview, evening gown, and swimsuit. It was held at Terrace Theater in Long Beach, California from Thursday, January 2 to Saturday, January 4. Kunze will go on to compete in the nationally televised Miss USA 2014 pageant, the precursor to Miss Universe, a Donald Trump and NBC Universal joint venture.
iTAN's partnership with Miss California USA began in 2013. Mabelynn Capeluj, Miss California USA 2013, served as a celebrity judge at iTAN's annual Miss iTAN competition in April, which also welcomed MTV star, beauty guru, and author, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley as a celebrity judge and host. iTAN welcomed Capeluj back as a celebrity judge for the iMAN 2013 competition in July. Miss iTAN and iMAN are annual lifestyle competitions sponsored by iTAN to find fresh, new faces to represent the brand while promoting a balanced and confident lifestyle throughout Southern California.
