On January 30, 2014, UBS AG, Zurich, Switzerland has informed us according
to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on
AIXTRON SE, Herzogenrath, Germany, have exceeded the 3% threshold of the
Voting Rights on January 28, 2014 and on that day amounted to 3.18% (this
corresponds to 3579002 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 1.68% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1891309 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
