MCLEAN, Va. – Feb. 3, 2014 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded a contract by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide operational services to the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT). This single award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract is for five years and is valued at up to $350 million.
US-CERT is responsible for analyzing and reducing cyber threats and vulnerabilities, disseminating cyber threat warning information, and coordinating incident response activities between the federal government, international partners, state and local government, law enforcement and the private sector.
