Makoto Iwasaki Joins The Warranty Group as Japan Country Manager


CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2014) - The Warranty Group, a leading global provider of warranty solutions and underwriting services, proudly announces the addition of Makoto Iwasaki to the Asia/Pacific leadership team as country manager for Japan. In this role, Iwasaki-san will be responsible for top- and bottom-line growth, building client relationships, and creating opportunity in new lines of business.

Prior to joining The Warranty Group, Iwasaki-san served as underwriting service director at Lloyd's Japan, Inc., the world's leading insurance exchange. During his tenure with Lloyd's, he garnered experience in the sales, marketing and underwriting of property & casualty insurance and reinsurance, and several lines of specialty insurance. Before joining Lloyd's, Iwasaki-san spent 10 years as an international consultant for Cornes & Company, Ltd., a trading company involved in the insurance industry since 1864.
