Delisting from NASDAQ OMX Iceland accepted


Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 2014-02-04 21:30 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- P/F Atlantic Petroleum (NASDAQ OMX & Oslo Børs: FO-ATLA & ATLA) announces that NASDAQ OMX Iceland has today accepted the Company’s request from 13th November 2013 to remove the shares from trading on NASDAQ OMX Iceland. The delisting will be effective as of close of trading on Friday 7th February 2014.

With reference to the Company's announcement from 12th December 2013 the Company was informed that the delisting process had been delayed as NASDAQ OMX Iceland were awaiting a determination from the Central Bank of Iceland on how Icelandic investors in the Company could trade in the Company's shares following the delisting. The Central Bank of Iceland has now responded to the request and granted all shareholders in Atlantic Petroleum resident in Iceland a right to sell their shares in the Company in Denmark and Norway for foreign currency.

Following the delisting from NASDAQ OMX Iceland, the shares of Atlantic Petroleum will be listed on NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen (primary listing) and Oslo Børs.
