February 7, 2014: SKW Stahl-Metallurgie Holding AG, Unterneukirchen
(Germany), ISIN
DE000SKWM021, attained - according to preliminary, unaudited figures - in
business year 2013 a Group EBITDA (according to IFRS) in the amount of EUR
15.2 million as well as an operative result (operative EBITDA) in the
amount of EUR 22.0 million. In the previous year, EBITDA according to IFRS
amounted to EUR 20.8 million, and the operative EBITDA to EUR 19.5 million.
The operative EBITDA adjusts the IFRS EBITDA for unrealized currency
effects, effects from aperiodic legal cases as well as from one-off
expenses for the ongoing earnings increase program.
The major part of the decrease in IFRS EBITDA is due to unrealized currency
effects; the remaining decrease is due to, inter alia, the accrual of
provisions based on judgments by the Court of Justice of the European
Union, as already communicated by ad hoc release of January 23, 2014.
According to preliminary, unaudited figures for business year 2013, Group
revenues in the amount of EUR 347 million remains below the previous year's
figure of EUR 405 million, as already guided by the report on the third
quarter of 2013.
